The “I’m Tired” Project – Workshops

It would be absolutely farcical of us to say that we are not excited for the I’m Tired Project that is set to begin here at Creatives Garage from 13th November 2017. More so because this will definitely not be your everyday kind of event, and the theme is not one that is used often. The level at which we can all relate to it is at a constant high. We all go through experiences that we really shouldn’t and honestly, it’s about time we addressed them.

One of the major highlights of The I’m Tired Project is the workshops, which will be held here at Creatives Garage on 14th and 15th November. In these workshops, co-founders Harriet and Paula will guide us in not only understanding what these stereotypes, micro aggressions and assumptions really are, but also their impact on society and to us as individuals. This is a topic that is often ignored or spoken about in hush hush tones, especially here in Kenya. Don’t you think we really should put an end to that?

During these workshops, Paula and Harriet usually give the participants a chance to take part in the project and have their picture taken, using their hands rather than their backs. These amazing ladies have held previous workshops where they have spent time with over 300 students from middle schools, high schools, Youth Bureaus and Summit Academies. Come join us on the 14th and 15th day of November for what will be an undoubtedly memorable workshop experience.
