His signature rugged look is hard to miss, that’s Nick Olwah. He dishes out reality like it’s going out of fashion and is what keeps you listening. Olwah and Band have graced different performance stages from open mic events to festivals including the Sondeka Festival delivering their smooth blend of spoken word, acoustics and smooth vocals.
This provocative piece by Nick Olwah is based on his battle with drug and substance abuse. He is bound in chains by drugs and feels that they empower him by giving him courage to talk to girls and particularly in front of a crowd. He is haunted by guilt due to the fact that he ends up choosing drugs over family all the time. He is in debt in order to sustain his lifestyle and ends up crying for help. Darkness is all he can see.
